Jo Giles, executive director of the Women’s Fund of Omaha and a sponsor of the Respect Nebraska Voters campaign, joined the Dan Parsons Show to discuss Nebraska’s ballot initiative process and the growing debate over lawmakers changing voter-approved laws. Topics include the paid sick leave measure approved by voters in 2024, subsequent legislative changes to that law, and the campaign’s proposal to make it more difficult for the Legislature to alter ballot measures passed by Nebraskans.
